What it is
A lysate is made by rupturing the bacterial cells after fermentation, releasing their internal contents - proteins, peptides and cell-wall fragments - into the liquid. Lactobacillus ferment lysate is used in the same way as Lactobacillus ferment, but supplies more cell-derived material. No live organisms remain in the finished product.
