What it is
Eclipta prostrata, known as bhringraj in Ayurveda and false daisy in English, is a herb traditionally used for hair and skin. Its extracts contain coumestans such as wedelolactone along with flavonoids. In cosmetics it appears in soothing and scalp-focused formulations. It belongs to the Asteraceae family.
