What stands out in the list
Worked out from the ingredients, not the packaging claims.
1 ingredient flagged for pregnancy
Sodium Salicylate is usually avoided or used with caution during pregnancy. This is what the ingredient entries say, not medical advice, so ask your midwife or doctor.
No fragrance or declared allergens
Nothing in the list is Parfum/Fragrance or an EU-declared fragrance allergen.
No drying alcohol
No ethanol, alcohol denat. or isopropyl alcohol in the list. Fatty alcohols such as cetearyl alcohol are not drying and do not count.
Short list - 7 ingredients
Fewer ingredients means fewer things to react to, and makes it easier to work out what caused a reaction if you do.

- Well tolerated

- Depends on you

- Worth knowing
- EU-restricted, a common contact allergen, or subject to live debate.
- Avoid
- Banned in EU cosmetics or credibly linked to serious harm.
- Not yet documented
- No encyclopaedia entry for this ingredient yet, so we make no claim about it.
How to use it
After cleansing and toning, unfold the mask over the face from the centre outward and leave on for 5 to 15 minutes, then pat in the remaining essence.

Reproduced from the pack or the brand’s own page. We have not tested these.
