Thirteen ingredients, no fragrance, aloe vera juice second - this is about as stripped-back as a mask for reactive skin gets. Allantoin and sodium PCA do the soothing and water-binding; the only preservation is glyceryl caprylate. The pack suggests chilling it first, which is where the cooling claim comes from rather than from any menthol.

How to use it

Apply to face, neck and décolletage after cleansing, morning or evening. Chill it briefly beforehand for a cooling effect. It absorbs; lift off any residue with a tissue.
