Jelly Glow Rubber Mask - Gold Routine Set

The catalogue's first modelling mask, and a two-part kit: an essence sachet you apply first, then a dry powder you mix with water. The powder is diatomaceous earth, corn starch, silica, algin and calcium sulfate, the alginate-and-gypsum chemistry that sets into a peelable rubber shell in about twenty minutes. Gold is genuinely on the list, eleventh, beside the mica and titanium dioxide doing the visible work. The essence is the more active half: niacinamide, ascorbyl glucoside and arbutin. Neither list has a preservative problem, because the powder has no water in it to spoil.

What stands out in the list

Worked out from the ingredients, not the packaging claims.

  • 2 concentration-capped ingredients

EU law sets a maximum for Titanium Dioxide, Arbutin. Products on sale in the EU must comply.

  • Bee-derived ingredients

Contains Honey Extract. Not vegan, and worth avoiding if you react to bee products.

  • 1 ingredient flagged for pregnancy

Arbutin is usually avoided or used with caution during pregnancy. This is what the ingredient entries say, not medical advice, so ask your midwife or doctor.

  • No fragrance or declared allergens

Nothing in the list is Parfum/Fragrance or an EU-declared fragrance allergen.

  • No drying alcohol

No ethanol, alcohol denat. or isopropyl alcohol in the list. Fatty alcohols such as cetearyl alcohol are not drying and do not count.

  • Barrier-supporting actives

Contains Niacinamide, ingredients with reasonable evidence for calming and supporting the skin barrier.

How to use it

Smooth the Power Essence over a cleansed face first. Then mix one mask sachet with about 30 ml of cool water into a smooth paste and apply thickly at once, avoiding eyes and lips. Leave 20-25 minutes until it sets rubbery, then peel it off in one piece from the edges.

  • Fragrance-free (no Parfum/Fragrance in either list)
