hautsache

Gesichtsmaske Brightening

The brightening counterpart to hautsache's Calming biocellulose mask, and the more interesting list of the two: niacinamide fourth, tranexamic acid eighth and azelaic acid eleventh, which is an unusual trio to find on a sheet at all. Behind them sits a long depigmenting botanical block - peony, liquorice, Fo-Ti, mulberry bark, Sophora, black cohosh, Angelica gigas, Baikal skullcap. Fragrance-free.

What stands out in the list

Worked out from the ingredients, not the packaging claims.

  • 2 ingredients flagged for pregnancy

Tranexamic Acid, Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract are usually avoided or used with caution during pregnancy. This is what the ingredient entries say, not medical advice, so ask your midwife or doctor.

Nothing in the list is Parfum/Fragrance or an EU-declared fragrance allergen.

  • No drying alcohol

No ethanol, alcohol denat. or isopropyl alcohol in the list. Fatty alcohols such as cetearyl alcohol are not drying and do not count.

  • Barrier-supporting actives

Contains Niacinamide, Panthenol, Allantoin, ingredients with reasonable evidence for calming and supporting the skin barrier.
