Luvos-Heilerde

Anti-Stress-Maske

The richest of the Luvos cream sachets in oils: corn, jojoba, soybean, macadamia, sesame, black cumin and sunflower, with daisy flower extract and the golden chamomile (Chrysanthellum indicum) the pack sells it on at seventeenth. Loess is sixth. Sorbitol second and alcohol third are the same base the rest of the range uses. Scented with natural essential oils; linalool and citronellol are declared.

What stands out in the list

Worked out from the ingredients, not the packaging claims.

  • Contains fragrance

Listed as Parfum/Fragrance, which can stand for dozens of undisclosed aroma chemicals. Fragrance is one of the most common causes of cosmetic contact allergy.

  • 2 declared fragrance allergens

EU law requires these to be named on the pack: Linalool, Citronellol.

  • Drying alcohol, high in the list

Alcohol appears at position 3, so it is a major part of the formula. Expect a fast, matte finish and possible tightness on dry or reactive skin.

  • 3 concentration-capped ingredients

EU law sets a maximum for Sodium Hydroxide, Titanium Dioxide. Products on sale in the EU must comply. It also sets one for Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, which products must comply with from 1 January 2027.

  • Nothing flagged for pregnancy

No ingredient on this list is one our encyclopaedia marks as avoided or used with caution in pregnancy. That is not the same as a clearance, so check with your midwife or doctor.
